Andrew Scott is a graduate of Ryerson University's School of Image Arts. He graduated in June 2013 with a Bachelor of Fine Arts (B.F.A.) degree in Film Studies. Throughout his time at Ryerson, Andrew focused on studying the principles of short film production within the Canadian Film and Television industry. Andrew's extensive portfolio features a wide variety of skill-sets including directing for documentary and screen performance, post-production, working as an editor for his thesis film, as well as a visual effects artist on several additional projects over the course of his studies. His interest and passion lies with visual effects and compositing.

Andrew also has experience with video production in the private sector. In 2012, he was hired as a work-for-hire video editor and motion graphics designer for Newcom Business Media in Toronto, ON, publisher of Today's Trucking and Canadian Technician Magazines to name a few.

In 2013, Andrew began working as a Compositor at Master Key VFX in Toronto, Ontario, working on several film and Television productions such as Scandal, How to get away with Murder and Suits to name a few.

in 2015, Andrew joined the team at  Spin VFX in Toronto, ON where he would work on several large productions including Suicide Squad, Fear the Walking Dead and Dominion. Andrew was promoted to Lead Compositor in 2016, and has lead several projects in the compositing Department, such as The Expanse (S2 and S3), The Shannara Chronicles, Fear the Walking Dead and The Gifted.
